I could eat Nutella on everything.I have been known to open the jar, grab a spoon, and go to town. My daughter Jojo has the same passion as I do; she craves Nutella.
My Favorite Kitchen Tools To MakeThis Recipe
From trusty pots and pans to handy gadgets, I’ve curated a list of products I use and love.
My entire family pretty much loves this gooey hazelnut spread. The only bad part about this spread is the evidence it leaves on your face after eating it. In our home, we get chocolate smiles, polka-dots of Nutella on our clothing, chins, and leftover smudges on our fingers from licking them.
One of my favorite treats to take up camping is my Oatmeal Peanut Butter Bars. This Nutella bar recipe is a twist on that recipe.

The first time I made these, the kids weren’t sure what to think. At first glance, they thought they were oatmeal peanut butter bars, and I have one little one of my own, Jersey, who swears to hate peanut butter, and one of my daycare kids, “Big Isaac,” who hates peanut butter. When I mentioned they were Nutella, there were literal shouts of joy. They all loved them! An instant hit!
Give them a try, and I know they’ll be a hit at your house, too. I love a twist on a classic, and these white chocolate Nutella bars are even better than the original.

Recipe Tips
- Oats: Use rolled oats/old-fashioned oats for this recipe. Quick oats also won’t work – the rolled oats have a better chewy texture.
- White chocolate: You can swap the white chocolate chips for other baking chips like chocolate or peanut butter. Or, leave out the chocolate and add the same amount of chopped nuts.
- Storage: I often make these in the summer and keep them in the refrigerator. This keeps the topping from softening if it’s warm out.

If you’re a Nutella fan or know someone who is, these Nutella bars are a must-make. They make the best easy dessert bar for potlucks and BBQs or treat yourself to one (or three) for an afternoon snack.
