How to get depth cells in calamity mod? ›

Depth Cells are a Hardmode crafting material dropped by enemies in the Abyss after Leviathan and Anahita have been defeated.

The Depths Charm is a Pre-Hardmode accessory that is obtained from Ancient Treasure Chests in the Abyss. When equipped, it reduces the damage the player takes when out of breath in the Abyss by 30 damage per second. It also removes the bleed effect caused by the Abyss.

Being in any layer of the Abyss below the first layer will disable natural life regen, much like the Bleeding debuff. This can be prevented by equipping the Depths Charm, Abyssal Diving Gear, or Abyssal Diving Suit. Only the Abyssal Diving Suit will prevent bleeding in Layer 3.

Lumenyl can also be obtained from Hydrothermal Crates after Leviathan and Anahita have been defeated. After Leviathan and Anahita have been defeated, Lumenyl will begin growing on voidstone in the lower portions of the abyss being an effective way to farm large amounts of it.

Depth is measured relative to the boundary between the Surface and Underground layers, which has a depth of 0 and is displayed as "Level". The display shows the vertical distance to this line and the name of the current layer.

1-5 Reaper Teeth can be obtained from Hydrothermal Crates at a 10% chance after both Polterghast and The Old Duke have been defeated.

If the player does not have a sixth accessory slot yet, the Celestial Onion can be used, and it will grant the sixth accessory slot.

Shimmer is a vanilla liquid that has the unique function of transforming ("transmuting") certain dropped items and entities submerged in it. The Calamity Mod adds multiple shimmer transmutations, as well as modifying some existing ones and adding some recipes that require shimmer nearby to craft.

The player can become immune to Sulphuric Poisoning by equipping the Abyssal Diving Suit and Asgardian Aegis accessories, or while in radius of an Effigy of Decay. The Sulphurskin buff and equipping a full set of Sulphurous armor also each reduce damage taken per second by 1.

Doing so will drain the Abyss of water and may lead to the flooding of the entire Underworld.

It has a 1/360,000 chance of occurring every frame (1/6000 every second) once the Eye of Cthulhu has been defeated, or can be summoned manually through the use of a Caustic Tear. The natural occurrences can be prevented by using the Broken Water Filter.

3-6 Plague Cell Canisters can be obtained from Jungle and Bramble Crates at a 20% chance once Golem has been defeated.

The Devourer of Gods is a post-Moon Lord boss that is fought after the Rune of Kos bosses, Polterghast, and in some cases, The Old Duke. It is summoned using the Cosmic Worm anywhere, at any time.

The Abaddon is a Hardmode accessory that drops from Red Devils.

The Depth Meter is dropped by various enemies underground, all of which have about a one percent chance of dropping it. It's dropped by: Cave Bats found in the Cavern Layer. Crawdads found in the Cavern Layer.

Depth Scales are a pre-Hardmode crafting material that drops from Barracudas, Blowfish, Hammerheads, and Sharp Tooths found in the Aquatic Depths biome.

Plague Cell Canisters are a Hardmode crafting material dropped by various plague-related enemies in the Jungle after Golem has been defeated.

The Abyss is an aquatic biome added by the Calamity Mod which spawns upon world creation. It is located under the Sulphurous Sea on the Dungeon side of the world through a chasm on the seafloor. It is extremely deep, dark, and perilous, filled with deadly enemies, which increase in strength as the biome grows deeper.
