Measuring Tips

When it comes to measuring wet or dry ingredients, either a kitchen scale can come in handy, or a more precise method of using measuring tools. When I measure dry ingredients, I like to use smaller spoons for scooping ingredients into a measuring cup, then I like to tap the measuring cup on a counter to allow it to settle and see if I need to add more to the top of the measuring cup. I then like to use a butter knife to scrape across the dry ingredients and leave a nice flat top behind to ensure accuracy. For liquid ingredients, I love using free printables like the one above to measure the liquid out using more than one unit of measurement to ensure accuracy!
