5 Fruit Infused Water Recipes You Have to Try (1)

This summer I have a serious goal to drink more water, as well as get more fruit and vegetables into my diet. On top of drinking smoothies like this Green Smoothie or my Spinach Berry Smoothie, I am always looking for ways to jazz it up and make water taste GREAT!

I have been infusing it with fruit and veggies lately, and it's SO GOOD. I wanted to share my favorite recipes for fruit infused water with you today along with a few tips.

Use Cold, Filtered Water for Fruit Infused Water

  • Filtered water just tastes so much better and you will be able to enjoy the extra fruit flavors more.
  • Cold water will keep your fruit and veggies fresh and in-tact longer. So not only will it taste better, but it will look prettier. (I honestly can't get over how gorgeous fruit infused water is.)
  • For fruit infused water, I also like to use ice cubes made from filtered water. This really makes a difference to me.
  • Someday I will have this nugget ice maker. Until then, I use filtered ice from my freezer and a fruit infused water bottle to make this in!

More Tips for Making Fruit Infused Water

  • Chill your infused water in the fridge or overnight for the best tasting results.
  • If using citrus like lemon or lime, remove the peel before adding to water. Peels create a bitter flavor that intensifies the longer they are soaking in the water.

Without further ado, here are my favorite infused water recipes. I use the term recipe loosely here because it is all a matter of preference, I'm just sharingsome good combos - amounts are up to you!
